Calibrate, adjust sensitivity based on your actual steps when using for the first time and you are good to go! Good app! Just not sure how accurate the "calories burnt" part. Apart from that its a pretty decent app.
As it is it is an infuriating waste of money. Appears to be a matter of sloppy engineering. I thought that Apple tested things before selling them. Caveat emptor!
I havent had any problems with this app. The only thing I would suggest to improve is an adjustment for walking hills. You burn more calories walking uphill and I dont think the app reads that so then the calories arent as accurate.
Could be better at Celebrating the steps and the Distance because I walked on a trail and it didnt add up As like on a track
This app works for a workout session. I need this to track daily steps. Only way the app works is if the app is open and the phone is not locked, this kills the battery. Need to fix to allow to run in the background for daily tracking.
This is a really useful app, combining pedometer with phone. I have lost almost 30 pounds by using this app to move more. The one big improvement I would like to see is for it to work in the background. If I am walking and talking on the phone at the same time, my steps dont get recorded.
Very accurate and consistently measures same mileage for same route. Easy to read and the history feature helps keep consistent steps andileage daily.
Good app but very sensitive. I enjoy it
If u use the app u find a few MAJOR bugs
Was off nearly 2 miles on a 4 mile walk.
Disappointed. I bought the app to put in my pocket and track steps throughout my day. They claim that you can lock the app on the screen which you can, but it will not track your steps..would be a good app if this was corrected
Was a great app till it stopped counting in the my workout and now wont work.
Its fine. It is as accurate as such things can be and as limited as they are. Correct expectations are key. It does what it does when properly calibrated. However, it loses track or stops time or recording steps if not in its locked mode. Does not function unless active ....
Just tried it on iPhone 5 C. I like that you have options such as putting it in your pocket or carrying it in your hand. Easier to use than other apps like this. Can start and stop so you dont drain battery. I had downloaded IOS 8 on iPhone 5 C but apparently need 5S to work the new Health app as 5C doesnt have M7 motion sensor as the 5 S does. This app provides basic data without a lot of clutter you dont need. Only 99 cents
I found the pedometer to be very inaccurate with GPS turned off With GPS turned on, it is pretty accurate. The app does not seem to work in the back ground, if I forget to bring it to the front after using another app — no steps are recorded. The small, stand alone $20 pedometers work a lot better.
